IMPORTANT NOTE

I know it’s a difficult time for everyone. However, please can villagers in their new found freedom and spare time for walking please keep to the footpaths and keep dogs under control (and on a lead). Groups of walkers have been seen by the farmer walking across stubble which has been left for environmental reasons – nesting birds (lapwings plus others). It is vitally important that people and dogs do not walk on these areas.
Similarly for the environmental strips around the outside of fields, they are left wild for a reason and Natural England have strict rules on the management of these areas, which doesn’t include access to the public!

There are plenty of well maintained footpaths in and around the village. Thank you very much
