HRH Big Help Out

b. Monday 8th May – the Parish Council will be hosting two events as part of HRH’s Big Help Out https://thebighelpout.org.uk
i. From 9am, we’ll be having our spring Litter Pick (and golden ticket search – litter pickers can keep a look out for any golden tickets they see around the village and cash them in for prizes)
ii. From 10.30am until 1pm or the cake runs out, we’ll be having a village wide coffee morning. We’d be delighted if any bakers out there would be willing to bring a tasty cake creation to share. We’ll provide tea and coffee. We will also have representatives from all (most/some) of the village committees so that folks in Arkesden can learn more about how they can get involved in volunteering in our little village (your faithful Clerk will be emailing village committees separately in a rather back to front fashion). And those lucky golden ticket holders can cash in their tickets for treats 😊!
