In 2000, Arkesden was fortunate to be given the use of a playing field known as Millennium Field. It contains playground equipment including swings and climbing frames, a sand pit, football posts and in 2010, the committee installed a cricket net. There is also a shed in the field in which you can find toys, ride on’s, balls and cricket equipment for ages 4-16. The committee’s role is the maintenance of the field and its equipment. Every year there is an annual Sports Day and Camp Out to raise funds for insurance and maintenance costs and safety inspections.
