NOTICE OF CASUAL VACANCY – 19 October 2022

Public Notice is hereby given that due to a councillor resignation, a vacancy exists in the Parish Council for Arkesden, Essex.

The vacancy will be filled by election if, within fourteen working days of this notice (on or before 7 November 2022), any ten local government electors for Arkesden Parish submit a written request to the Returning Officer, Peter Holt, CEO – Uttlesford District Council, Council Office, London Road, Saffron Walden, Essex CB11 4ER (email: pholt@uttlesford.gov.uk).

If no such request is made to the Returning Officer, the vacancy will be filled by co-option by the Arkesden Parish Council.
